Luhmuhlen, Germany – Luke 140 and Fedarman B earned their first CCI5*-L completion this week with tremendous results at Luhmuhlen CCI5*-L, as Luke 140 took fourth overall and Fedarman B finished eighth. Luke 140, owned by the Luke 140 Syndicate, completed on his dressage score of 30.1, going clear cross-country and jumping clear on the final day of competition.

Fedarman B, owned by the Annie Goodwin Syndicate, also impressed in his CCI5*-L debut, earning a 32.4 in the dressage and going clear and inside the time on cross-country. The pair had an uncharacteristic rail down in the show jumping, but still finished well on a 36.4. Tsetserleg TSF, who was rerouting after an early mishap at LRK3DE, finished 25th overall, after Boyd and “Thomas” fell victim to the early water combination, adding 20 penalties and thirteen time-faults to their score. The pair finished on a 69.5, with plans to have Thomas run at the iconic Burghley Horse Trials in September.

All three horses finished sound and healthy and will have a few weeks of vacation before returning back to training to prep for the fall CCI5*-L schedule.

Several of our owners from both syndicates joined the action to watch both Luke and Bruno contest their first CCI5*-L, and we continue to be humbled by their support and belief in Boyd, the team, and the horses.
