Luhmuhlen, Germany – Luke 140 and Fedarman B earned their first CCI5*-L completion this week with tremendous results at Luhmuhlen CCI5*-L, as Luke 140 took fourth overall and Fedarman B finished eighth. Luke 140, owned by the Luke 140 Syndicate, completed on his dressage score of 30.1, going clear cross-country and jumping clear on the final day of competition. 

Fedarman B, owned by the Annie Goodwin Syndicate, also impressed in his CCI5*-L debut, earning a 32.4 in the dressage and going clear and inside the time on cross-country. The pair had an uncharacteristic rail down in the show jumping, but still finished well on a 36.4. Tsetserleg TSF, who was rerouting after an early mishap at LRK3DE, finished 25^th overall, after Boyd and “Thomas” fell victim to the early water combination, adding 20 penalties and thirteen time-faults to their score. The pair finished on a 69.5, with plans to have Thomas run at the iconic Burghley Horse Trials in September. 

All three horses finished sound and healthy and will have a few weeks of vacation before returning back to training to prep for the fall CCI5*-L schedule. 

Several of our owners from both syndicates joined the action to watch both Luke and Bruno contest their first CCI5*-L, and we continue to be humbled by their support and belief in Boyd, the team, and the horses.
